Color Note 20

Color Note 20

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of welcoming an international client for a trial color therapy session.

Our connection actually started with my colorful business card.

She told me that she had often chosen black for her clothing and social media backgrounds.

But when she saw my business card, it inspired her to explore more colors in her own life, and she reached out to me.

I was so happy that my card sparked her interest in color, and even happier that she took the next step and joined my session.

Knowing that color had inspired someone to take a small step toward something new meant so much to me.

Exploring Yourself Through Color

During the session, we used the colors she chose as a starting point to talk about her past experiences, how she feels now, and the direction she would like to take in the future.

From the colors she chose, I felt that she may have spent much of her time caring for others and working hard at whatever was in front of her.

I also had the impression that she is now entering a new chapter of her life, building on the experiences and knowledge she has gained over the years.

Moving toward her goals while also enjoying the journey, taking one step at a time in her own way.

That was one of the messages I felt from the colors she selected.

Of course, colors alone cannot tell us everything about a person.

But they can offer an opportunity to explore feelings we may not usually pay attention to. Sometimes, simply putting those feelings into words helps us understand ourselves a little better.

I hope our session gave her a little time and space for that kind of reflection.

Building on Past Experiences and Moving Into a New Chapter

During our conversation, I discovered that music is an important part of her life.

She also shared some of her dreams for the future. I was inspired by the way she is using her past experiences to explore new possibilities.

After our session, she showed me a few videos of her performances.

I was amazed to see another side of her, full of creativity and talent, beyond the warm and friendly person I had been chatting with.

It reminded me that everyone has unique talents and qualities that we may never discover until we take the time to get to know them.

Her willingness to take new steps toward her dreams was truly inspiring to me.

Bringing More Color Into Everyday Life

Our everyday lives are filled with colors.

From the clothes we wear and the food we eat to our home interiors and the scenery around us, we are constantly surrounded by color, often without even noticing it.

But when we begin to pay a little more attention, we may discover something new, feel a little more at ease, or find a gentle encouragement to move forward.

Sometimes, small changes can happen naturally, without us even realizing it.

For me, this is one of the most fascinating things about color.

Birth Colors: A Lifelong Companion

I was also very happy that our session sparked her interest in Birth Colors.

While color therapy focuses on how we feel in the present and what may lie ahead in the near future, Birth Colors are six personal colors calculated from information such as your date of birth. In this system, your Birth Colors remain the same throughout your life.

What truly matters to you? What values and tendencies shape your approach to relationships, money, love, and other areas of life?

Birth Colors offer a way to reflect on your true nature and explore these questions.

And what I love most about Birth Colors is that they are not just something you learn about once.

You can bring your personal colors into everyday life through clothing, accessories, or home decorations.

Seeing those colors may remind you of what matters to you or help you shift your mood when you need it.

We all have days when we feel down or when something doesn't quite feel right.

Instead of forcing ourselves to think positively or trying to convince ourselves that everything happens for a reason, we can simply acknowledge how we feel.

Over time, we may notice that difficult feelings don't stay with us quite as long, or that it becomes easier to make choices that feel right for us.

I believe color can be a gentle source of support in our daily lives, helping us find a little more calm and balance.

Because our Birth Colors stay with us throughout life, they can serve as a gentle reminder of who we are, through all the different stages of our journey.

To me, Birth Colors are like a lifelong companion — something we can always turn to for a little support and encouragement.

Understanding ourselves is not always easy, especially when we try to do it alone.

That is why I value creating opportunities for people to explore and understand themselves more deeply, using color as a starting point.

What began with a single colorful business card turned into a lovely new connection.

I hope to continue celebrating the connections and new possibilities that color can bring into our lives.

Bringing color closer to everyday life, with more freedom and joy.
