Lumi Neiro is a name created from two words: Lumi, meaning "light," and Neiro, a Japanese word often translated as "tone" or "timbre."
For me, Neiro represents more than sound. It reflects the unique qualities, character, and presence that make each person who they are.
The Japanese character for iro (color) has also long been associated with the impression, atmosphere, and essence something carries. This meaning deeply resonates with me, as it reflects the beauty and story that each person holds within.
Life does not always follow a straight path.
There are times when we take detours, feel lost, or pause along the way. Yet it is through these experiences that we gain depth, wisdom, and the unique colors that shape who we become.
I am especially drawn to vintage Showa- glass, which has been carefully passed down through generations.
By combining the warmth and character of traditional Japanese glass with contemporary colors and designs, new expressions of light can emerge.

To me, this reflects the journey of life itself—how our experiences, choices, and challenges gradually shape our individuality and help us grow into our authentic selves.
At the heart of Lumi Neiro is the wish that each person can embrace their unique qualities, honor their own story, and shine their light in their own beautiful way.
