“There are so many moments in daily life when I think, ‘This is cute,’ ‘I like this,’
‘Could I make something like this?’ ‘I want to try making it.’
But among those thoughts, there are ideas that make me think,
‘Let’s do it,’ and move right away, and others that stay only as thoughts.
What creates that difference, I wonder.
Looking back, the ideas that turn into action are often the ones where I can already see a rough structure or a finished image in my mind.
Even if the shape isn’t clear yet, I start researching how to make it and imagining what I can create with my current skills.
As the idea slowly comes together, my hands naturally begin to move.
This time, I made something I always want to display during a season that is special to me each year.
It’s an item I’ve long thought, ‘Someday, I’d really like to have one that I can use every year.’
When I looked into it, I found many people creating Hina dolls in stained glass, and there were so many charming pieces that made my heart flutter.
Among them, I chose something that felt, ‘With my current skills, I could bring this much into shape,’ and turned that idea into a finished piece.”

For the background, I used floral textured glass, which instantly adds a sense of sweetness and charm.
The delicate flower pattern gently enhances the feeling of the Hina Festival.
As something to display every year during this season, it feels like a piece that will brighten not only the space in my home, but also my heart.
I also accept custom orders for seasonal pieces, not limited to Hina Festival items.
